My stay at Amara Sanctuary was quite underwhelming. The amenities felt very average, and we had multiple issues that were not resolved satisfactorily. However, we did appreciate the efforts of the staff at the tea room who made our son's birthday special. Overall, it wasn't the experience we hoped for, especially with the pool being closed for repairs and other maintenance issues.
Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious, but it had a dusty and outdated feel, which left a lot to be desired.
Service
5.0
While the staff in the tea room were great and attentive, overall service felt lacking due to poor management and communication.
Location
6.0
The location is decent as it's situated in a resort area, but it doesn't offer much serenity due to nearby noise.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was disappointing; the quality of food didn't meet our expectations.

My stay at the resort spa was a mixed bag. While the ambiance was fantastic and the garden area provided a serene environment, the service left much to be desired. The room was comfortable but lacked some basic amenities that could have made it better. Overall, it's a nice spot for a getaway, but improvements are needed in service and dining.
Rooms
7.0
The room was comfortable with a nice view, but it was missing some throw pillows that would have made it more cozy. I did experience some backache because of this during my stay.
Service
5.0
Service was inconsistent; I faced delays and issues with room service and housekeeping, and my friends were asked to leave prematurely from a shared area. It was disappointing, especially considering the resort's reputation.
Location
8.0
The location within the resort is lovely, with easy access to the pool and other amenities. It's a great place for a short staycation, being close to popular attractions.
Dining
5.0
Dining was quite disappointing. I expected better for the price, especially during breakfast where I found the cold poached eggs to be unacceptable. Overall, it was a letdown.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities were good, particularly the garden areas and pools, which provided a resort feel. However, they could use some updates and better maintenance.

I had a mixed experience at the resort. While the room was spacious and clean, the check-in process was frustratingly slow, and the common areas felt a bit chaotic. The staff were polite but seemed overworked at times. Overall, it had some good features but also a few disappointing aspects, especially regarding the service at peak times.
Rooms
8.0
The room was large and clean, with a lovely bathroom featuring a deep bath, but it wasn't the one I initially reserved. There were some sound issues as I could hear people walking along the corridor.
Service
5.0
Service was hit or miss; while housekeeping did an excellent job, the check-in staff seemed overwhelmed and impatient. They didn't provide information about facilities during check-in.
Location
7.0
The location was decent, although the resort felt a bit isolated, which may not suit everyone. It was not far from the beach, which was a plus.
Dining
6.0
Dining didn't stand out, but the breakfast was decent and offered a mix of Asian and Western options.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities like the pool were underwhelming and not as luxurious as anticipated. However, the general cleanliness was commendable.

My stay was quite mixed. The suite I booked was spacious and came with a nice jacuzzi, which was a highlight. However, the air conditioning didn't cool the room adequately, and I also faced some inconveniences during check-in that wasted a lot of time. Overall, while there are great features, it needs some fine-tuning to justify the price.
Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and equipped with nice amenities, although it wasn't soundproof, so I could hear some noise from outside, like the rain on the roof. The jacuzzi was a lovely touch, but it would have been better if it was serviced properly.
Service
6.0
Service was pleasant for the most part. However, during check-in, things felt a bit chaotic, and it seemed like they were unprepared for the volume of guests. The staff, while friendly, gave an impression of being slightly overwhelmed.
Location
7.0
The hotel is nicely located within walking distance to many attractions. However, getting in was a hassle because of parking issues at Sentosa, which really dampened the start of my visit.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast spread was decent but lacked variety. I appreciated that they kept replenishing the food until late, which is a nice touch.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were decent, with a small infinity pool that looked inviting but got crowded quickly. It certainly has potential but could use a bit more space.

We had a lovely weekend at the resort, enjoying both the beautiful surroundings and the Pampered Paws package that allowed us to bring our pug along. The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. However, our initial check-in experience was frustrating, with significant delays and a lack of communication that dampened the excitement of the trip. Overall, it's a beautiful place with great amenities, but some areas definitely need improvement.
Rooms
7.0
The room was spacious and clean, but the view was just of the garden and could have been better. A few amenities like the kettle could use maintenance.
Service
8.0
The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, though the check-in process was chaotic, leading to a frustrating wait.
Location
9.0
The hotel is in a great spot, just a short walk from the beach and other attractions, which was perfect for us to explore.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was nice with plenty of options, but our room service took an excessive amount of time, which was disappointing.
Facilities
8.0
The infinity pool on the top floor was lovely, though a bit small for the number of guests. It's a beautiful space for pictures and relaxation.
